Introducing the Right Wood for the Project

Over the past 20 years, we’ve had the opportunity to build several hundred of decks and screened porches nail by nail…and during that time, we’ve used all different kinds of building materials ranging from natural wood to the composites. We continue to be underwhelmed by the lack of good deck building materials. Like most deck builders, we continue to experience a long array of problems including (but not limited to): rotting, warping, peeling, cracking, splintering, twisting, cupping, discoloration, stains and poor drainage.

We were tired of these ongoing problems and decided to design a wood product for decks and screened porches with both the homeowners and contractors in mind. Tailored Wood is that finished product.
